CFP: The Third PROGRESS Conference

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Third PROGRESS Conference
Thursday 7 June 2007

The University of Manchester
School of Arts, Histories and Cultures

The School of Arts, Histories and Cultures is committed to fostering interdisciplinary intellectual exchanges within its postgraduate community. This is reflected in the nature of research being undertaken by its current MA and PhD students. The conference, sponsored by SAGE, is designed for all junior researchers interested in cross-disciplinary research. We invite proposals of 250 - 300 words from postgraduate students at any university who are currently engaged in research of an interdisciplinary nature.

Themes for papers are not restrictive but we are most interested in those that appeal to a broad audience. Papers delivered at the conference will be considered for possible inclusion in a special issue of PROGRESS, the online postgraduate journal for the School of Arts, Histories and Cultures at the University of Manchester.

For further information or to submit an abstract please email Miss Anne-Marie C. Hughes and Ms Charlie Wildman at progressconference@hotmail.co.uk

Deadline for abstracts – 7 May 2007
